A Cinematic Home for a Feature Thriller

Built to Pull Viewers In

La Lista, released internationally as The List, is a feature thriller that needed a web presence with the same tension as the film. We designed and built the promotional site end to end, fully custom in Bricks Builder with zero plugins, from the immersive hero to the festival awards and review sections, and designed the posters and social media kit around the same identity. Region based routes let audiences in North America, the UK and worldwide watch the trailer and rent or buy through Vimeo on Demand. The finished site scores 98 for Performance and 100 for Best Practices on Google Lighthouse.

What Needed Solving

A Film Deserves a Set, Not a Page

La Lista is a feature thriller with festival credit to its name. Its promotional home had to earn the same reaction as the film.

A thriller that needed its stage

The site had to feel as immersive and cinematic as the film itself, pulling viewers into the tone of the thriller from the very first frame.

Many regions, one clear route

Audiences in North America, the UK and worldwide needed clear routes to watch the trailer and to buy or rent the film without hunting around.

Heavy media on a light build

Posters, stills and video carry real weight, yet the site had to stay fast, secure and simple to maintain, with no plugin sprawl underneath.

Every frame sets the scene

What We Delivered

A Website Cut Like a Trailer

A fully custom cinematic build

UI and UX design and front end development handled end to end in house, shaped around the film rather than a template.

Bricks Builder, zero plugins

The whole site runs on Bricks Builder with no plugins at all, a lean, fast and secure base that is simple to maintain.

A hero that tells the story

An immersive hero and storytelling layout carry the film's premise and atmosphere from the opening frame to the final call.

Trailer and regional pathways

Trailer playback and region based buy or rent routes for North America, the UK and worldwide run through Vimeo on Demand.

Awards and reviews up front

Dedicated festival awards and review sections build credibility, with media heavy content optimised for fast loading.

Posters, banners and social kit

We designed the film's posters, social media banners and post templates, so the campaign speaks one language everywhere.

Brand and Promotion

One Campaign, One Visual Language

The website was only part of the job. We also designed the film's posters, social media banners and post templates, all cut from the same cinematic cloth as the site. Wherever an audience first meets La Lista, on a feed, a poster wall or the homepage, the film looks and feels like one story.

The Outcome

A Premiere That Stays Fast

A site that feels like the film

98 Performance on Lighthouse

100 Best Practices, zero plugins

Rent and buy without the hunt

Awards and reviews that convert

One look across the campaign

Conclusion

Tension on Screen, None Behind It

La Lista now has a promotional home that matches the film's atmosphere and respects its audience's time. The site runs fully custom on Bricks Builder with zero plugins, scores 98 for Performance and 100 for Best Practices on Google Lighthouse, and gives every region a clear route to watch, rent or buy. The posters and social kit carry the same identity beyond the site.
